Waypoint Church is a community following Jesus, grounded in God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit. Through worship, prayer and biblical teaching, we grow together in faith. We seek to share God’s love by welcoming everyone, serving our community and creating a place where all can belong. Our heart is to see lives transformed by Jesus and to be known for our love as much as our faith.
We believe there is real value in people spending time together, building friendships and supporting one another through the different seasons of life.
Prayer is central to the life of Waypoint Church. We believe in seeking God together and trusting Him to work in our lives and our community.
Worship is at the heart of Waypoint Church. We gather to praise Jesus, grow in our relationship with Him and allow our love for God to shape the way we live and serve others.
Through Open Doors, YMCA and our FaithWorks Foodbank partnership, Waypoint Church seeks to share the love of Jesus through support, compassion and care.
In Genesis 16, we see Abraham, the father of faith, facing a situation where God’s promise seemed to be taking too long. Abraham and Sarah decided to take matters into their own hands, and Hagar became part of their attempt to fulfil God’s promise. What seemed like a reasonable solution at the time was not God’s plan.
We are delighted to share that building works have now begun at Waypoint Church, with scaffolding now in place around our church building on Loch Road.
This marks the start of an important programme of restoration and maintenance that will help preserve and enhance the building for many years to come.
Waypoint Church is my spiritual home; it’s where Worship and God’s Word take centre stage. I know this is the place God has called me to grow and thrive in Him.
I know I am not alone in the universe. I was so lucky and blessed to meet all the wonderful people who are now my friends, and it all happened because of your church. Thank you all for being there for me.
I am really grateful to this church for the support that I have received when my family needed a prayer and a hand of a friend. We found God, and He is powerful. I encourage you to join our community!
